About
Us
Fondation Arc-En-Ciel or the Rainbow Foundation was
founded by a couple, the Koulagnas, on the 28th of March 2009 with the
motto “bringing out the beauty in you”.
The NGO is based on the prime principles of the Christian
Faith and targets youth in the immediate communities to acquire capacity building
skills and imbibe ideologies that would enable them be ‘who’ and ‘what’ they
were meant to be. Its vision is to make the less privileged beautiful from the inside
out so that they in turn can be an excellent channel of the truth to others who
are yet to find their way.
White light
signifies purity and health,
and when split as in the rainbow yields the seven colors that signify our operational
arms.
Red for Missions
Orange for Education
Yellow for Microfinance
Green for Agriculture (NAPDII)
Blue for Music
Indigo for handcrafts and
Violet for Sports
Thus far, the mission arm has been involved in free
medical missionary outreaches as funds permits. We have also made large donations to christian mission boards in Jos Nigeria, and orphanages for support.
The educational arm at the moment is in partial sponsorship
for a few pupils in need in Ngaoundéré Cameroon. We also intermittently give donations to schools dedicated to the education of orphans and the less privileged in Jos Nigeria.
The agricultural arm aims to acquire a landscape for
agro-pastoral yields. We intend to make large scale plantations for medicinal crops.
The music arm has produced musical videos with
life-inspiring songs to encourage the youth to belief that success is possible
in an honest and descent path. School anthems for the very young are constantly
being composed to boost self-esteem. For videos see YouTube “If I Sing” and “Christ
Is King” by Fabreez Kula’nya. See also http://reverbnation.com/kulanyafabreez
The handcraft arm has very awesome entries on our Facebook page. You'll just love them. Have a look
We have just opened the Chloé&Anika beauty hub in Nigeria for creativity, sponsored by fondation Arc-en-Ciel (April 2024).
Other arms are stepping up to a relevant and functioning
capacity.
