During an impromptu inspection…
you are never caught off guard

Suppose a police suspect bumps into you while trying to get away,
You can make a valid sketch of his /her face
You can describe details of him/ her
You can only identify what he/ she was wearing
You may only remember in which direction he/ she went
You most likely would ignore the suspect and attend to your hurt 

Friendships.
You can cherish a good friendship for a long while
You make few friends but keep good contacts
You make many friends but keep poor contacts
you make friends as easily as you lose them
you find it difficult to let go of a bad friendship
